Jerry Jeudy Bio
Jerry Jeudy knew he had some interest from Texas A&M, but it was Louisville that offered the freshman first. Wednesday night, on the bus ride back from his spring football game, his head coach let him know the Cardinals had offered. Jeudy couldn't believe it.
"I was like, ‘Stop playing with me,' and he said, ‘No, you really do have an offer.' I was just shocked and happy," Jeudy said.
"I don't know too much about them, I just know about how their football team was last year, with Teddy Bridgewater, but I like the division they play in."
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound athlete didn't expect his recruitment to begin so early in his high school career.
"I was surprised. I thought I was going to get offers later on in the season, but getting my first offer now, I was surprised," he said.
"I'm very excited."
The 2017 receiver is just getting started, but he knows he can turn some coaches' heads with his abilities.
"They like my receiver skills," he said.
"I make plays at receiver."
Moving forward, Jeudy wants to hear from many schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Florida.
